Android 13，開發代號為Tiramisu[2][3][4]。 第一个開發者预览版本已于2022年2月10日发布，Google Pixel系列（Pixel 4以及後續機型）手机率先使用。[5]正式版於2022年8月15日發佈。[6][7][8]首批搭载 Android 13 的设备为 Pixel 7 和 Pixel 7 Pro。

Android 13在后台使用身体传感器需要新的权限。[9]另外如果OEM希望在設備上搭載Android 13並捆绑Google流動服務，則手機內存至少要達到2GB，存储空间必須達到16GB[10]。

Android 13 更新了 Android Runtime（ART），采用基于 Linux userfaultfd系统调用的新型垃圾回收器（GC）。[11][12][13]新的垃圾回收器能够降低内存压力、减少已编译代码的体积、减少卡顿现象，并降低垃圾回收过程中因内存不足而导致应用程序被系统终止的风险。[13] 其他改进还提升了应用程序的启动速度和整体性能。[13] 由于Mainline 项目的支持，Android 12 的 ART 也能够获得相同的更新。[11]
