Android 13，開發代號為Tiramisu[2][3][4]。 第一個開發者預覽版本已於2022年2月10日發布，Google Pixel系列（Pixel 4以及後續機型）手機率先使用。[5]正式版於2022年8月15日發佈。[6][7][8]首批搭載 Android 13 的裝置為 Pixel 7 和 Pixel 7 Pro。

Android 13在後台使用身體感測器需要新的權限。[9]另外如果OEM希望在裝置上搭載Android 13並捆綁Google流動服務，則手機主記憶體至少要達到2GB，儲存空間必須達到16GB[10]。

Android 13 更新了 Android Runtime（ART），採用基於 Linux userfaultfd系統呼叫的新型垃圾回收器（GC）。[11][12][13]新的垃圾回收器能夠降低主記憶體壓力、減少已編譯代碼的體積、減少卡頓現象，並降低垃圾回收過程中因主記憶體不足而導致應用程式被系統終止的風險。[13] 其他改進還提升了應用程式的啟動速度和整體效能。[13] 由於Mainline 專案的支援，Android 12 的 ART 也能夠獲得相同的更新。[11]
